Policy for Scheduling Rooms LRC 234 and 205 - 1st draft

1. LRC 205 will be available to be scheduled by Academic Affairs. Suggested criteria for use of this room are that students will have need for this facility at least 60% of time and that class size be at least 40 students. Academic Affairs will implement this via a request form which more fully spells out criteria, which would also determine whether a discipline's own labs were concurrently scheduled.

2. If 205 is not scheduled through Academic Affairs, it becomes available to be scheduled for other purposes. Priority in scheduling will be for student support services (library, financial aid, etc.)

3. LRC 34 is designated for training and workshops and is not available to be scheduled by Academic Affairs.

4. The new room scheduling software, EMS, will be used to schedule 205 and 234.

5. The LRC director should be made aware of 205/234 scheduling. This may include an approval process
