Course Management Task Force - Update

1. In the November 2009 College Council meeting, the Recommendation of the CMS Task Force to transition from Etudes to Moodle, and to phase out Etudes on 6-330-2010 as a college supported portal was discussed, and tabled, pending a presentation to the Academic Senate in their December 2009 meeting to review and approve the Recommendations of the CMS Task Force

2. In December 2009, the Chair of Technology Committee presented the CMS Course Review of the current 3 portals in use at Mission - Etudes, Moodle and Course Compass, along with the Recommendations. The Academic Senate consented to the recommendations made by the CMS Task Force to phase out Etudes.

3. In December 2009, the action item of the CMS Task Force to phase out Etudes was renewed and approved unanimously. See Report to College Council on 12-17-10.

4. In January 2010, the Chair of the Technology Committee entered into an agreement with the TSE-Worksource San Fernando program to provide a student worker to commence work on the "Etudes to Moodle Transition". Starting in 1-27-10, a TSE Program Participant began the training and work of implementing the transition from Etudes to Moodle.

Below are the classes that need to be transitioned to moodle.
